However, cooking with charcoal or on a fire caused me to make some modifications. First, I made a small stand which serves as legs and allows for charcoal or fire coals underneath. Secondly, I made two rings to hold the charcoals on my curves lid. The rebar lid lift is very handy for rotating or peeking under the lid, and the charcoals stay put. Now my dutch oven is very versatile.
